The certification course for Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate equips developers with the knowledge and skills to build complete solutions in Microsoft Azure. Throughout the course, students will gain an understanding of how to create Azure compute solutions, develop Azure Functions, manage and implement web apps, use Azure storage to build solutions, establish authentication and authorization protocols, and ensure the security of their solutions by leveraging KeyVault and Managed Identities.

Moreover, students will be taught how to connect to and utilize Azure services and third-party services, and integrate event- and message-based models into their solutions. The course also encompasses the topics of monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Azure solutions.

Microsoft Azure Developers who design, build, test, and maintain cloud solutions, such as applications and services, partnering with cloud solution architects, cloud DBAs, cloud administrators, and clients to implement these solutions.

To be successful in this course, learners should have the following:

  •  Hands-on experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions, and the Azure Portal.
  •  Experience writing in an Azure supported language at the intermediate level. (C#, JavaScript, Python, or Java)
  •  Ability to write code to connect and perform operations on, a SQL or NoSQL database product. (SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra or similar)
  •  Experience writing code to handle authentication, authorization, and other security principles at the intermediate level.
