CN211: Mirantis Container Cloud (MCC)

In this quick lesson about Mirantis Container Cloud, you will learn how to use MCC to put together Kubernetes clusters on AWS. You will also learn how to control who can use MCC, keep track of how the system is working with monitoring and logging tools, and how to connect MCC to other monitoring tools. By the end of the workshop, you will have a small example of MCC running on your own AWS account, so you can experiment with it later.

In this brief lesson on Mirantis Container Cloud, you will learn how to deploy Kubernetes clusters on Amazon Web Services (AWS) using MCC.  You will also learn about managing MCC user permissions, monitoring and logging tools based on Stacklight, and integrating with third-party monitoring tools. By the end of the workshop, you will have a proof-of-concept MCC deployment on their AWS account, which they can use for further exploration and study.

Mirantis Container Cloud is a container management platform that helps you to deploy and manage containers in various environments. With MCC, you can create and deploy Kubernetes clusters on AWS with just a few clicks, as well as manage access permissions and monitor the clusters’ performance. Stacklight is a built-in tool that provides real-time monitoring and analysis of cluster logs and metrics, while MCC’s third-party integrations enable users to connect with external monitoring and logging tools.
